Renee Ricca, originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, is an internationally renowned Master Pilates teacher based in Miami, Florida, and a second-generation Pilates teacher in direct succession from Joseph Pilates. Renee first discovered Pilates in her professional career dancing on Broadway. Injuring her foot, led her to Carola Trier in 1970, with whom she studied for 4 years.

These reformer classes are for Intermediate/Advanced students. The repertoire will include the work of the Masters Carola Trier and Romana.

In these classes you will learn the basic principles behind Pilates work and create a strong foundation to build your Pilates practice. These class focuses on body alignment, pelvis stability, breathing, initiating and building abdominal strength, flexibility, and elongating muscles groups to enable efficient movement, and learning transitions.
The Orbit is a brand new tool! Now you can roll through a fun, full -body workout that stregthens, stretches and challenges on multiple planes! Rotate, flex, extend and stretch your way to a longer, leaner, healthier you.

Cardio Jump Board Sport on Reformer

Cardio jump Board on Reformer

The Pilates Reformer Jumpboard class is an hour long and creatively integrates Reformer and Mat exercises.The class is intelligently organized to optimize flow and fluid transitions and interval jumping springs to elevate the heart rate for weight loss and muscle building. Taught focusing on teaching clients to use their feet correctly on takeoffs and landings.

MOTR

MOTR

Combine the core principles of Pilates, the power of aerobic conditioning and the balance and release exercises of a foam roller in this inspiring class. The MOTR is a small, inexpensive piece of equipment that allows you to train while focusing on key principles of alignment, balance, core control and functional movement patterns. The MOTR exercises are varied to provide appropriate challenges for clients at any level of fitness from senior citizens to professional athletes


Gyrokinesis

The Gyrokinesis method was developed by Juliu Horvath, an ethnic Hungarian, professional dancer from Romania. Gyrokinesis exercises are performed on a mat and chair. Gyrokinesis exercise sequences are composed of spiraling, circular movements, which flow together seamlessly in rhythmic repetitions, with corresponding breath. Each movement flows into the next, allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. These carefully crafted sequences create balance, efficiency, strength and flexibility.

Pilates for Buff Bones (r) is comprehensively structured program system of exercises based on scientific findings and is approved by medical professionals of bone health. Pilates for Buff Bones (r) provides safe one-strengthening and balance-improving exercise programs within the framework of a Pilates mat setting. This class is appropriate for a broad audience including young male or female adults building bone loss, middle aged adults and baby boomers with and without excessive bone loss (specifically referring to osteoporosis). Known as "the silent Disease" osteoporosis occurs in 50% of all menopausal women and even 25% of men!
